Frequently Asked Questions

What is the adoption process?

Our adoption process involves filling out an application, a review by our team, a home visit (for some cases), and finally meeting your potential new companion. The entire process typically takes 1-2 weeks.

What are the adoption fees?

Adoption fees range from $75-$150 depending on the cat's age, breed, and medical needs. This fee helps cover vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures, microchipping, and other medical care the cat has received.

Do you offer post-adoption support?

Yes! We provide ongoing support for all adopters. This includes advice on cat care, behavior, and health. We're always available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout your cat's life.

Can I return a cat if it doesn't work out?

We understand that sometimes adoptions don't work out as planned. If you need to return a cat, please contact us first. We ask that you never rehome a cat adopted from us without our knowledge.

Are all your cats spayed/neutered?

Yes, all cats over 6 months old are spayed or neutered before adoption. For kittens under 6 months, we provide a spay/neuter voucher to be used when the kitten reaches the appropriate age.

Do you ship or transport cats?

We do not ship cats. All adoptions must be completed in person at our facility or at one of our adoption events in the San Francisco Bay Area.

How can I help if I can't adopt?

There are many ways to help! You can volunteer, foster, donate supplies or funds, or help spread the word about our adoptable cats on social media. Every bit of support makes a difference.
